Insulation,
John from Aurora had a squirrel problem and while there doing an inspection of his attic
I noticed the insulation was very low and barely covered the truss. I spoke with John and explained how we could help with both his squirrel issue and the lack of insulation.
Prevention and eviction was completed for the squirrels and then we topped up John's insulation and added some new baffle blockers to help with the circulation.
John is pleased that he and his wife no longer have squirrels and know that there home is protected and efficient moving forward.

Attic restoration from bird infestation

On May 3, 2010 our technician inspected a Pizza shop in Brantford, Ontario.  Birds (starlings) were found nesting in the ceiling of the restaurant and had been entering through some exterior venting.  On May 4th our technician returned to relocate the birds, including babies, to an outdoor bird house.  All feces was cleaned and ceiling tiles were decontaminated.  Prevention work was also completed on all exterior venting and the work was guaranteed.

More Attic damage from Squirrels

Raccoons, Squirrels, Bats and mice

 

Cynthia from Orillia called me today regarding a squirrel running back and forth along her soffits and abover her ceiling.

I completed the roof and attic inspection and found an access at a valley bottom on her roof.

Cynthia didn't have drip edge installed and therefore the gap at the valley bottom was exposed to weather and was easy to chew larger.

I informed Cynthia that we would need to do prevention work including the installation of drip edge in order to guarantee no further entries.

Myself along with another technician completed the prevention/eviction work at Cynthias home in Orilla.

Red squirrels are very distructive and are avid chewers are small enough to get into very small areas, and are very prolific in Barrie, Orillia, Collingwood and Muskoka.
